The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the launch of a WhatsApp Service to increase the awareness of Nigerians in regards to the spread of Coronavirus.
It is a two-way message channel where Nigerians can receive real-time messages from the NCDC and also get clarifications on any issue concerning the virus.

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Nigeria, the NCDC has diffused current updates on the number of cases confirmed and states affected and the situation of things in general.
As at 10.40 pm yesterday, a total of 97 cases have been confirmed, 3 recovered and 1 death has been recorded by the agency.
Meanwhile, states like Osun and Rivers have closed their borders in order to curb the spread of the Virus.
