Another important factor to consider is how much time you get for yourself. If you have been searching for a job for a while, it is easier for you to get roped into a job that does not give you any space to do other things. The reputation of a company should have some influence on your decision to work there. No one should work in a place they are not proud to tell people about. You cannot work with a company that has a bad reputation. If they do not have your respect, then you will not enjoy working there. On the flip side, if a company has a good reputation, you will have a more positive outlook on things and be motivated to work.
7. Commute
This is something to consider even before you apply for the job. How long does it take you to get to work? What is the traffic like? When will you get home? These things affect your quality of life, and consequently, the quality of your work. Don’t start what you cannot maintain. Before the body pains start, ask yourself if it’s worth it.
