Nigerian singer Seyi Shay is currently being dragged all over the streets of Twitter over the verdict she gave to a young singer at this year’s audition of the television reality show, Nigerian Idol.
In the video which has gone viral, She had told the singer, “Somebody lied to you and told you to come and audition, and that person, you should go back and tell them they’re not your friends because that was not a good audition.
“Oh, you have a good talking voice, and it comes out in your singing voice, but your performance, terrible. You’re never going to make money being a singer.” She said.

This verdict did not go down well with Nigerian tweeps who left no stone unturned to lambast the “Yolo” singer. They stated that it was a situation of an upcoming artist rebuking another upcoming artist. Others believed that there were better ways for Seyi to make her point other down the way she did on television.
