American music legend Burt Bacharach has died at the age of 94.
Bacharach reportedly died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with his family by his side.
Noel Gallagher, the singer, took to Instagram to pay tributes to the veteran songwriter.
“RIP Maestro. It was a pleasure to have known you,” he wrote.

The ace songwriter was described as one of the greatest artistes of the 20th century.
He composed more than 500 songs including ‘I Say A Little Prayer’, ‘Walk On By’, ‘Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head’, and ‘Do You Know The Way To San Jose.’
More than 1,200 artistes performed his songs, which won a plethora of awards.

Bacharach started his career as a songwriter in the early 1950s, working with Hollywood star Marlene Dietrich, before forging a professional relationship with lyricist Hal David in 1957.
He has won the Oscars three times and six Grammy Awards during his seven-decade career.
Bacharach once described himself as “a person that always tries to deal with melody.”
Three days before his death, the Oscar winner took to his Twitter page to recall his time with Elvis Costello.
“@ElvisCostello and I performing “Toledo” in 1998 at Sessions at West 54th,” he wrote.
