Award winning Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, has reacted to the backlash she has received from social media users since her leaked s*x tape.

In a post via her Instagram story on Monday 25th October, the “Koroba” crooner said some people will be happy when she is no more.

Tiwa Savage disclosed that she was sad when she lost her dad and Obama DMW, Davido’s associate better known as ’44’. However, she is certain that they are no longer in this cruel world.

“I was sad at the passing of my dad and 44. But at least they are no longer in this cruel place. Some people will be happy when I am no more,” she wrote.

Tiwa Savage has been in the public eye after her leaked s*x tape surfaced on the internet.

The video has continued to elicit different reactions, with some Nigerians criticising the “Celia” singer.

Amid the outrage, several celebrities including Mercy Aigbe and Harrysong had defended the mother of one with solidarity posts.

However, actress Georgina Onuoha, claimed that celebrities supporting Tiwa Savage did her a disservice by celebrating what she termed her “mistake”.

Tiwa had earlier lambasted her critics, saying some of them thought the s*x tape would destroy her. The musician also said that she remains unperturbed by people’s opinions.
