Sony Continues Its Quirky Designs In Its Latest Affordable Glass speaker

Sony is announcing one of its glass lantern speakers, an affordable quirky design than its predecessor the LSPX-S2 will cost $449 at launch.

 

This speaker is called the Sony LSPX-S3, a $349 wireless Bluetooth speaker that uses its glass tube as a tweeter for 360 degrees sound. Sony’s new speaker creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in any space, with its 32 different light brightness levels.

The LSPX-S3 speaker battery can last up to eight hours when fully charged, and its different lights can create a romantic mood at home because of its ambiance.

 

Vice president of Home Entertainment & Sound, Sony Electronics Inc Daisuke Kawaguchi said.

“The LSPX-S3 is a sleek and streamlined speaker that seamlessly blends with any environment.”

 

“With crystal clear sound and a unique flickering candlelight mode, this speaker is designed to create an inviting atmosphere that delivers incredible audio quality.”

Sony boasts that no matter the music genre, this speaker will offer clear and powerful high tones from the organic glass tweeter.

Its 360 degrees sound is powered by its Advanced Vertical Drive Technology; which uses three actuators that discreetly attach to the end of the organic glass. Despite its tiny size, the new sony speaker has a “Bass Boost mode” for puncher sound.

 

In addition a clear low-end notes thanks to its passive radiator enhancement.

For aesthetics, this speaker base has a minimal silver color with a satin finish and a fabric bottom. Users can sync the lights to gentle pulse in time with the music playing. Users can connect two Glass sound speakers at once with stereo pair, allowing each speaker to act as a left or right audio channel.

For connectivity, the LSP-S3 speaker is compatible with USB Type-C, Sony Music center app, and Sony’s Bluetooth LDAC codec. This speaker will be available to order from August at the company’s official site.
