Sony Evolution Noise Earbud: Sony the kings of sounds recently released a new earbud, the “WF-1000XM4” very weird naming schemes for their products. This product is a true evolution in noise-canceling technology.

The Minato-based company currently offers the best active noise cancellation technology when compared to Bose and other sound companies. when announcing these new earbuds, they claimed to have developed a new noise-canceling standard.

 

Sony designed special integrated processors that remove ambient sounds better than their competition. Let’s get into the specs, these earbuds processors work in hand with dual noise sensor microphones that detect outside noise.

They use dual 6mm drivers with the intention to block out noise. They respond dynamically to changing listening environments using a feature called “Adaptive Sound Control”.

 

Phone call quality is excellent as sony calibrated the microphones on these earbuds to pick up sounds from the user’s mouth only. Sony claims that these earbuds will catch every word when users speak during a call even when they are in a noisy place.

The WF-1000XM4’s are built with speak-to-chat technology, which intuitively pauses music as soon as the user speaks to someone. The earbuds have basic touch controls that allow users to activate/deactivate noise cancellation, play, pause or skip songs.

Sound quality. is expected to be better since these buds have sony’s latest version of upscaling tech called “DSEE Extreme”. This tech is designed to improve how compressed music files render.

 

Another impressive in these WF-1000XM4’s is sony’s immersive audio format 360 Reality Audio as reported by Digital Trends. However, you will need to use a compatible streaming service such as Deezer, and Tidal to truly enjoy this feature.

 

Sony’s Headphone Connect app will help you set up the 360 Reality Audio, customize your audio settings and manage virtual assistants like Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant.

 

Sony’s WH-1000XM4’s, very impressive headphones created a new standard for over-the-ear headphones, and I expect the WF-1000XM4’s to top the earbuds space.

These buds claim a battery life of 12 hours without active noise cancellation turned off and 8 hours when turned on. its charging case has wireless charging features and provides an additional 16 hours of charge time.

 

The WF-1000XM4’s debuted in two colors: Black and silver. Currently available on sony’s website and at Amazon for a retail price of $280 and higher.
