SpaceX has successfully launched four more astronauts to the International Space Station on its crew-3 mission. The astronauts rode inside the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule from the Flacon 9 to space.
This space flight has been delayed sometime now, the spacecraft took off around 9:03 pm eastern time from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral Florida.
Elon musk space company has successfully conducted its third successful commercial crew mission for NASA. Each mission lasts around six months, which means the crew-3 astronauts would the festive periods and new year in Space.
Still in contention is Blue Origin’s argument that SpaceX is too complicated for Nasa’s Lunar Lander program. This after the GAO (Government Accountability Office) denied Blue Origin’s appeal to NASA for the program.
Blue Origin says SpaceX’s Lunar landing craft is “immensely complex and high risk”. The company posted an infographic on its website to support its claims.

The infographics further say that “There are an unprecedented number of technologies, developments, and operations that have never been done before for Starship to land on the moon.”
SpaceX starship will have to refuel in orbit in order to reach the moon. Blue Origin considers this as unsafe and dangerous. Earlier, the Jeff Bezos space company appealed to NASA, after the agency picked SpaceX as the sole contractor for its 2025 Human landing program.
This decision by the GAO maintains SpaceX as the solar contractor to NASA’s human landing program. The agency went with SpaceX as a result of low funding from congress.
The GAO verdict clearly stated that NASA “reserved the right to make multiple awards, a single award, or no award at all.”
SpaceX continued successful space launches proves why NASA picked the musk company to handle its Space flights into the International Space Station and beyond.
