Starlink internet services is now available in 32 countries around the world and you can order them now if your area is marked “available.”
The SpaceX owned internet company made the announcement on May 13, providing prospective customers with a link to see available locations in full.

While most of the locations are in Europe and North America, there are also places in South America, Australia, and New Zealand where you can start using Starlink’s connectivity right away.

However, excluding the entirety of Africa from this early rollout still points at the fact that Musk’s vision statement is nothing but a sales man’s talk.
At inception, Starlink was touted as a means to bring internet service to less served areas of the globe. This promise is not consistent with what we have been seeing. The services are still focused on areas where there are already great internet connectivity.
Again, there is the promise that by 2023, the service will be expanded for more people, hopefully, those in African and Asian countries.
Meanwhile, for those who can use Starlink, as soon as you get your kit, here are a few things you should know:
- The kit typically includes a wifi router, cables and base.
- The device will require a clear view of the sky.
- You will need to download the right Starlink App to determine best location for installation.
