Nigerian music icon 2Baba has finally broken silence on the crisis rocking his marriage with actress Annie Idibia.
On Friday 3rd September Annie had called him out for allegedly spending nights with his baby mama Pero Adeniyi. She also alleged that the Idibia family has always been against her.
2baba’s brother Charles Idibia had fired back at the actress stating that she is diabolical and has frustrated 2baba in their marriage.
But on Wednesday evening, the veteran musician took to his Instagram page to urge his friends and family members to “stop the madness.”
He also begged the public “to please respect our privacy and our kids, let us deal with our issues internally.”
“I admit that bringing our personal issues on social media was not cool. But I will not sit back and watch everybody have a free for all battle here in the name of love or solidarity. None of us is perfect.
I will like to urge our families and supporters to stop the madness and the public to please respect our privacy and our kids. Let us deal with our issues internally. I take God beg una.”

Meanwhile, in a leaked audio that made its way to the internet on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, a weeping Annie was heard telling someone over the phone that her husband has fled the US to be with his baby mama Pero Adeniyi.
According to Annie, he lied to her he was going to shoot a music video in the US. She said he was helped to flee by his manager Efe Omorogbe and his cousin Frank.
The actress, still wailing said 2Baba’s family never liked her but now she’s is going to “scatter everything.” She also said she would be going live on Instagram to expose her husband.
