More FIFA 23 leaks suggest that players may actually get to use the fictional football club AFC Richmond managed by Ted Lasso. Yes, like the comedy-drama series.

Played by Jason Sudeikis, Ted Lasso is the coach of AFC Richmond, a second-tier English football in the Apple TV+ show. It had won 7 Emmy Awards in its first season and 4 in its second.

Last week, a leak revealed that the fictional club was part of the upcoming FIFA 23 game. However, at the time, there had been no logo and it made many disregard the leak as being fake.

Then, a new screenshot that surfaced on Reddit seems to give the leak more credibility as it shows that the club is actually available for selection. For now, there is not much detail available on its inclusion.

Gadgets 360 said that the team players are available for transfers into a player’s Ultimate Team or in career mode. Although, it says nothing about which players would be listed in the team because the TV show uses several actors.

It is surprising that EA has kept quiet about this, if the rumours turns out to be true because the game makers had been straightforward about news of the women football clubs’ inclusion.

FIFA 23 is coming out on September 30 across playing platforms like PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. Already, player ratings are being leaked and we should get the full info soon.
