Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla finally came through with the launch of the long-awaited Cyber truck. Already known for his innovation in technology, his other company, SpaceX had launched the prototype of a space vehicle this week. The event had not gone as well as planned as it exploded before covering much distance. However, as he said, Musk seems undeterred by this recent failure.
On Friday, 22nd November 2019, the science big-shot oversaw the launch of both a Cyber truck and an ATV quad bike. At the show in Los Angeles, California, today, the truck, known as Cybrtrk, was unveiled. It is touted to be able to move from a speed of 0mph to 60mph in 0.29 seconds. Further, it is said to be bullet-proof and solely powered by electricity.
Due to this last feature, it is designed differently from normal trucks. Manufactured with an exoskeleton, the truck is covered with extremely strong panels. The same type of panels used in spacecraft. It can also comfortably seat six people and has armoured glasses.

The Cybetruck was tested during the unveiling. It faced attacks of sledgehammers at the hands of spectators. Elon Musk also, showed the audience a video of the glass withstanding an assault from a handgun.
However, during the show, glasses were broken by a ball bearing. But as he demonstrated over the incidence with the starship prototype, the genius joked about it. “Room for improvement” Elon said as the presentation wound to an end.

Pre-orders are surfacing according to a report from INDEPENDENT. Although the date of proper launch for sales is still not specific. The release is predicted to be around the end or 2021 or the beginning of 2022. It is not even among the top ten most expensive cars with a price range of between $39,900 to $76,900.
