The Future Summit 2022 took place at Ikoyi Lagos on Saturday 24th September 2022 with the theme “The Blue Print”.
The event was well attended by celebrities, youth leaders, and business-minded people who came with their wealth of experience to motivate the youths.
Banky W in his remarks stated that life comes with congratulations and condolences. He noted that he has had his own down moments. He reminisced how his marriage tested the waters when it felt he neglected his wife while pursuing his political career.
The singer cum politician also advised the youths to get committed to building their character. He noted that humility is important. He also reiterated that meekness is not a weakness.
As he ended his speech, he dropped his five “Cs” which he stated will help youths achieve greatness. They are:
1. Calling
2. Commitment
3. Character.
4. Compassion.
5. Courage.

Mrs Olufunke Isichei, in her remarks advised youths present to build their brand. She stated that they should be deliberate about who they are, stating that your person is as important as your skill. She also advised that people prepare themselves for the next level.
Mrs Isichei also advised that young people need mentors that they are accountable to. In her words “One habit of highly effective people is that they take responsibility for their mistake.
Agatha Legal advised people to have a viable idea that is bankable and legal compliance to avoid costly mistakes in business. In her words “Legal protection is not optional, but mandatory”. She advised youths to be trustworthy and give people quality goods and services. She also ensured to explain business terms such as annual returns, intellectual property, and non-disclosure document.
The Future Summit 2022 was one event, the youths of Lagos will not forget in a hurry as it helped their mindsets.
