Microsoft’s gaming platform Xbox now has a new edge browser that plays Stadia games on its console. Stadia is the online gaming platform of Google, just like Microsoft’s xCloud.
Initially, in testing Xbox newest Edge browser can now stream Google Stadia games, and access Discord on the web. The Chromium edge is based on Google’s Chrome engine. The new design is sleeker and minimalistic.
The new browser works flawlessly with Microsoft’s range of online tools like Office 365. Gamers can perform online editing on Word and Excel. The Edge browser supports keyboard and mouse, with sync on PC and mobile for settings web history and others.

Xbox xCloud is now officially available on Windows via the Xbox app. Initially, in testing for its beta insiders, this service is now available publicly. Intending users of cloud gaming services need to be Xbox game pass subscriptions in order to use it.
Gamers can now play Xbox games through the cloud just like Google’s stadia platform. It has now made a swift jump from availability on web browsers to an actual native app. Xbox remote play on the other hand; allows gamers to stream their games from their consoles to a windows external machine.
Interestingly, you will need to be on the same network as the games with your external Microsoft machine. Additionally, these games can be streamed at a high resolution of 1080p at 60fps. There’s also backward compatibility for certain games according to Microsoft.
The newest development from Microsoft’s Xbox and Stadia shows the trajectory of the Redmond company to collaboration.
