This Video Shows Tesla’s Prototype Cybertruck With Huge Windshield Wiper

There is a new video detailing a tesla prototype Cybertruck with its huge windshield wiper. This walkaround video is the closest to a production-ready version on the internet for now. This video is gotten from the Cybertruck owners club forum.

The Huge Windshield and its Wiper

Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk believes its Cybertruck wiper design is a mess and there is “no easy solution” after users spot a very large wiper on the vehicle Prototype. Remember the video of the truck racing in the tracks?

The Cybertruck massive windshield that blends together with the top of the vehicle is proving an ugly outlay with a regular wiper. If it ever were to ship with one, it will be excessively large and unattractive.

Recent footage showing the prototype wiper had  Musk say on Twitter that “the wiper is what troubles me most” after comments of the sheer size. The Cybertruck production has hit another setback with a 2023 time frame.

In Detail

Musk however might have some ideas “No easy solution. Deployable wiper that stows in front trunk would be ideal, but complex.” This correlates with an Electrek site report of a Tesla “electromagnetic” wiper in a patent that might ship with the electric truck. Elon Musk has said the Tesla Cybertruck could flop when it eventually goes on sale, this is because of its weird design and size.

Musk promises to share more information about the Cybertruck, with a “product roadmap update” on Wednesday 26 January earnings call. Tesla had to reduce the overall size of the Cybertruck it displayed in 2019. It has even added mirrors to the truck because of state regulations.
