Tonto Dikeh defended Bobrisky after youths decided to protest the existence of the transgender icon. The self-acclaimed best friend to Bobrisky took to her Instagram page on Thursday, 19th September 2019. There, she slammed those who went all out to protest against her friend.
A surprised and irritated Tonto couldn’t believe Nigerians would focus on Bobrisky when there are other things to protest against.
She said:
“Our country is collapsing by the day, no road, no jobs, no medicals, no education, killings everywhere, poverty, robbery, corruption, I could go on and on. And some youths took out time to stage a paid protest against Bobrisky?? Excuse me??? Talk about misplaced priorities, sigh.”

This is not the first time Tonto Dikeh has had to defend Bobrisky. After the disruption of her birthday party, Tonto consoled Bobrisky. She even advised her on what to do with her unused luxurious birthday cake.
Bobrisky constantly comes under attack and is a target for a lot of bigoted vitriol. Nevertheless, having friends like Tonto Dikeh must make her life in the limelight a lot more bearable.
