Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed how she sponsored seven In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments after the death of Ibidunni Ighodalo.The beautiful mother of one made the revelation on Tuesday 15th June to mark the one-year remembrance of the late beauty queen.
In her post, Tonto Dikeh explained that she only got to know about the late Ibidunni Ighodalo after her demise and how widely she was mourned.
“I only knew you at/in your death, I wondered why everyone seemed so sad n mourned you publicly…
My first thought WHO IS SHE, I did the girly thing..slide into your page, watched your beautiful life”.
She said a stroll to Ibidunni’s DM revealed the beauty queen had tried to reach out to her in her trying times.
“Took a stroll to your DM and I fell in love with you.IMMEDIATELY 😔😔 You tried to reach out as a support and pillar IN MY TRYING TIMES. YOU WERE 1 OF THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO TRIED TO HELP ME AND YOU DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ME”.
In concluding her post, Tonto said she sponsored seven IVF treatments last year to celebrate Ibidunni who was passionate about helping women struggling with fertility.
“IN YOUR HONOR LAST YEAR I GAVE 7 WOMEN IVF TREATMENT TO CELEBRATE YOU IN PRIVATE. Am grateful for the love you wanted to give me… KEEP RESTING IN PEACE MA’AM” She wrote.

Ibidunni Ighodalo, ex-beauty queen and wife of popular Lagos Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of the Trinity House Church died on the early hours of Sunday, 14th June 2020 in a Port Harcourt hotel from a cardiac arrest.

Ibidunni first hit fame in 1999 when she won the Miss Lux beauty pageant competition as an 18-year-old undergraduate of the University of Lagos.
She married Pastor Ighodalo in 2007. Ibidunni was also a successful event planner whose outfit Elizabeth R, had big brands in her clientele.
She was the founder of Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, an NGO that raises awareness on issues about infertility. The foundation provides grants for couples that require fertility treatments such as in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intrauterine insemination.
In a 2018 interview; Ibudunni Ighodalo revealed that it was her personal struggle with infertility that led her to start the foundation. She had 11 IVFs due to pressure from in-laws and friends. This all happened before she adopted her daughter Keke, then her son Zenan.Late Ibidunni’s husband Ituah Ighodalo, the senior pastor of the Trinity House Church, recently revealed he has no plans to remarry after the demise of his wife.
In an interview in May, the clergyman said marrying another woman would be “a difficult thing” because he had already given “everything” to his late wife. Ighodalo also added that he is simply focused on his ministry, future, and grooming his children.
