Popular gospel singer Tope Alabi has released a song in memory of late beauty queen Ibidunni Ighodalo. The death of Ibidunni shook the internet on Sunday 14th June 2020. She died from a Cardiac arrest.
Tope Alabi dropped a heart-stirring song on YouTube reflecting on the life of Ibidunni, and how she impacted the lives of people around her.

Ibidunni Ighodalo first hit fame when she won the Miss Lux beauty pageant competition as an 18-year-old undergraduate of the University of Lagos.

She was also the founder of Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, an NGO that raises awareness on issues about infertility. The foundation provides grants for couples that require fertility treatments such as in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intrauterine insemination. In a 2018 interview, Ibudunni Ighodalo revealed that it was her personal struggle with infertility that led her to start the foundation. She had 11 IVFs due to pressure from in-laws and friends.

Meanwhile, a candlelight service in her honor took place yesterday 17th June 2020. Gospel artistes like Tope Alabi, Efe Nathan, Sammie Okposo, Tosin Martins, Buchi, and others rendered powerful songs at the service.
Ibidunni will be laid to rest in Lagos on Saturday, June 20th, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, and her children Keke and Zenan.
