The Beehive is buzzing, and the topic of discussion is Beyonce’s newly released “The Gift” Album. Twitter had the album-associated Nigerian trends following its release. Wizkid, TheGiftAlbum, Beyonce, Burna, Brown Skin Girl, Davido and Yemi Alade were among the top trends.

“The Gift” is Beyonce’s album project based on the classic film, “The Lion King”. While the remake of the 25-year-old film will be one of the hottest topics of all times, this album has set a pace for many to come.
Despite the many positives of the remake, there’s nothing new about it. It will simply be a nostalgic moment for everyone who watches it.
However, if you are a die-hard fan of the original Lion King, this time would be more epic with solid casting and impressive animation. Just to whet our appetites, Beyonce’s latest album tells the story of what occurs in the film.
In a sit-down interview with GMA’s Robin Roberts, she explained the important role the soundtrack plays in the film.
“We’ve kind of created our own genre, and I feel like the soundtrack, it becomes visual in your mind.” She continued, “It’s a soundscape. It’s more than just the music because each song tells the story of the film.”
Twitter users are just as excited by this news as we are. Africa being represented in Queen Bee’s album is no small feat. With great power comes great responsibility, and with such an opportunity comes mixed feelings.
The reactions were such a positive and negative mix. Some were out to get Yemi Alade and Tekno for their track; others were ecstatic about Wizkid’s collaboration with Beyonce.

Kimani can’t keep blaming Tiwa Savage for her misfortunes. If Yemi Alade and her one good song can take her all over Africa, Kimani has no excuse

Twitter users still had some lovely words for Yemi Alade and Mr Eazi.
Mr Eazi is hands down the most data driven artists out of Nigeria, closely followed by Yemi Alade. They pay attention to the science and data of the music and spend their time where it matters. That’s where its all headed now.

Twitter stays denying yemi alade’s clout. The woman is huge

Yemi Alade really went from being mocked for bad lyrics frequently on twitter to appearing on Beyonce’s album. Winning in Real Life >>>> Losing on Twitter
