Twitter Rolls Out ‘Share Tweet’ Menu Feature For iOS Users

Microblogging platform, Twitter has just announced that iOS users can now access the ‘Share Tweet’ menu on their devices. Here is how it will make using Twitter more enjoyable.

In August 2020, Twitter had mentioned that it had begun testing a feature to allow users share Tweets faster. The company announced the testing in a Tweet that reads:

After about a month now of testing, Twitter has finally made the feature available for everyone using iOS devices. It said, “Now available to everyone on iOS: the new “Share Tweet” menu that lets you share Tweets to other apps in fewer taps.”

However, the Tweet sharing feature has been available on Android devices for a long time. Also, not many people are satisfied with the limited sharing options that are available on the feature.

The users who are complaining are saying that Twitter should just make use of the native iOS share sheet because it has more options. For example, a Twitter user pointed out that the share Tweet menu does not provide sharing via AirDrop.

A Twitter correspondent revealed that the company is working to include all iOS apps in the sharing menu. “We’re working on getting them all in there! Some apps make this experience super straightforward and for others it’s a bit harder. Let me know if we’re missing your favorite,” she Tweeted.
