A recent report reveals that the marriage between Nollywood actress Lilian Esoro and Ubi Franklin has been officially dissolved. The dissolution of their marriage occured on Thursday, 28th January 2021, at an Abuja High Court

Meanwhile, an Ikeja High Court judge in 2019 ruled that their divorce is invalid. This was because Lilian testified that Ubi provides for their child and maintain a cordial relationship.

The judge told both parties to settle their differences amicably also stating they are only seeking divorce due to childishness.

Lilian Esoro and Ubi Franklin tied the knot in November 2015. It was an elaborate and flamboyant wedding however, a year after the marriage, the couple who have a son Jayden together went their separate ways.

In November 2020, Ubi Franklin took to Instagram to reminisce on his failed marriage.The music executive noted that he was pissed at that time when other people’s marriages tagged as relationship goals.

However, Ubi Franklin noted that over the years, he realised that even the marriages he admired at that time and tagged goals have gone bad and become dirty.

Ubi Franklin isn’t new to contriversies, as he was previously involved in a bunch of baby daddy scandals. In 2019 he welcomed two daughters from two women; Sandra Iheuwa and Nicole Siyo. This was after his marriage to Lilian Esoro hit the rocks.
