Uche Odoputa Calls Out Imo State Government Four Months After His Father’s Kidnap

Nollywood actor, Uche Odoputa, has revealed that his father is still missing four months after being abducted by unknown gunmen.

The newly married actor, who is currently based in the United Kingdom, revealed this on his Instagram page on Wednesday, September 7th.

In his post, he explained that his state government is doing nothing to address the people’s insecurity.

Odoputa shared a photo of his father and expressed his pains. He wrote:

” It’s really very sad 😔 and heart breaking 💔 how under the watch of one Government my state “Imo” has lost more person’s now then we ever did during the civil war 😢 including my father Mr Kenneth odoputa who has been taking away for 4 months now 😢 💔 without any information Dead/Alive and no one is saying anything about it hmmm #prayerforImostate.”

Remember that the 52-year-old veteran Nollywood actor was on the verge of becoming an A-lister. He had a large fan base and was on the verge of becoming a big star.

Unfortunately, he changed his career path. He was arrested in 2007 for drug trafficking and sentenced to two years and three weeks in prison.

The actor from Orlu, Imo State, claimed he wasn’t making enough money and that some people took advantage of his desperation and introduced him to the drug trade.
