Viano, Son To Late Chico Ejiro Dies Months After His Father’s Death

Viano Chico Ejiro, the last son of late movie director and producer Chico Ejiro has died.

11-year-old Viano died on Monday 15, October after a protracted battle with Cancer.

Before his death, Chico Ejiro devoted his time and resources to taking care of Viano since he was diagnosed with cancer as a toddler. His wife, Joy Chico Ejiro also moved to the US with their last son for better health care but he sadly didn’t make it.

Viano’s death is coming 11 months after his father’s who died on December 25, 2020, from a heart attack. Chico Ejiro had just finished directing his most recent movie when he died.

The ace director was behind some of the biggest blockbusters in Nollywood including Silent Night, Blood Money, Blood Money, Deadly Affair, amongst other movies of note.

Joy his wife had recounted their last moments before his death on her Instagram.

She stated that her husband’s death came as a rude shock as they already had plans for Christmas. She reminisced on the last discussion they had, not knowing it will be their last. Describing Chico Ejiro as a selfless man, Joy thanked him for the opportunity to spend the last 26years together as man and wife.

She’s yet to comment on the passing of their last child.
