New York City police have arrested more than 30 persons causing chaos over the death of Walter Wallace. More than 200 protesters took to the streets of Philadelphia following the killing of an African-American by the police.
Walter Wallace Jnr, 27, who was shot on Monday night by the Philadelphia police, is said to be suffering from a mental breakdown. He was seen in a video approaching policemen, who had their pistols pointed at him.
A closer look at the video shows Walter mouthing some words. The police took lethal steps to subdue an approaching Walter Wallace.

This event sparked off outrage as the protesters took to the streets to vent their anger. Some stole pumpkins for Halloween off doorsteps and hurled them at windscreens. Other protesters attacked random buildings and painted graffiti on police vans. “RIP Walter” was also painted on some walls.
Reuters confirms that “Approximately 30 people have been arrested” by the New York state police force.
Philadephia becomes the latest hotbed of protests against racial equity and police brutality in the United States. George Floyd, an African-American also died when a Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for close to nine minutes.
George Floyd was harassed and killed by the police after a store clerk alleged he passed a counterfeit $20 bill in Minneapolis. His death led to worldwide protests against police brutality.
