Meanwhile, the video of the SpaceX rocket shared by Musk was a compilation of four different perspectives of the landing. It starts with what looks like a fireball as the Falcon 9 speeds through the atmosphere.
The fireball later disappears to reveal the Falcon 9 piercing through the sky. However, the rocket continued to maintain a perpendicular orientation all the way back to the ground. This is the perfect position for the rocket to allow its booster to control the descent.
Falcon 9 was able to carry almost 9,000 experiments and items during this CRS-18 mission. The total weight of the payloads was over a ton. The slime was one of the most interesting items sent out, along with an Adidas ball.
Consequently, the next Falcon 9 launch is expected to happen on 3rd August 2019. The rocket will take the AMOS-17 communication satellite from Israel to Space.
