The topic How Many People Have You Slept With is presently trending on Twitter. Is this another way of asking “What’s your Body Count?”. A question a lot of people are not comfortable with.
A person’s s*xuality is usually seen as private and a topic that is not open for discussion. While the male folk is able to laugh about the women that have had intimate relationships with, the women, on the other hand, are supposed to play the role of v*rgins.
So the question is? should s*xual purity be gender-based? At the moment, a twitter gender battle rages as women feel the question is irrelevant, while the men believe ladies have an uncountable body count.
See how twitter reactions from female users below:

This war over the issue of body count didn’t start today. Nigerian celebrities have in one way or another touched the topic.
In August, fast-rising female artiste Teni the entertainer in a video revealed, she cannot date a man whose body count is more than 10. For Teni such a man can be referred to as a “public toilet”.
Prior to this, Nigerian musician, Akitoye Balogun popularly called Ajebutter22 released his song titled “Bad Gang” far back in 2016. The song which featured, Folarin Falana also known as Falzthebadguy listed social vices youths have come to embrace, but somewhere in the lyrics he said:
“Body count going way up, was a good girl but you changed up”
This hashtag is presently a twitter war. The question is why do people run away from the question of body count? Is it a mindset thing? Also, is a person’s actual body count a reflection of their morality? Does it say if you are decent or loose?
