In a new Tweet, WhatsApp has now said that the animated stickers are now available. These new types of stickers will allow users to have more fun as they express themselves via chats. This is not all, its dark mode theme is also now available on desktop.

Additionally, the company is improving its group video calling feature as well. Now, users can choose who they want to focus on during group calls by pressing and holding to maximise the participant’s video to full screen.

KaiOS users are also getting the WhatsApp Status feature. It had earlier announced QR codes that will make it easier for users to add new contacts. It says that when it is available, users only have to scan QR codes to add new contacts instead of typing in their digits.

To use the latest WhatsApp features, users have to be using the most recent versions of the app. So, if you get a notification to update your app, you should do so promptly.
