Public display of affection, also known as PDA, is one ingredient that you don’t want to take out of your relationship with your boyfriend. Many couples enjoy holding hands, leaning on each other’s shoulders, and that occasional peck when no one is looking.

 

You just feel loved and wanted by your significant other. However, some ladies have complained that their partners are not into PDA, and trust me it can be a source of worry.

 

Here’s why your boyfriend is shying away from PDA.

 

1. He is not the PDA person

 

Men are naturally not as emotional as women. So, in most cases, he wouldn’t have to do all the lovey-dovey things in public. Meanwhile, there are some men that will not mind being all over you in public. It’s different strokes for different folks. So if he is shying away from PDA, but still loves you and supports you, let him be. Take him as he is.

 

2.  He is not so into you

 

Most often, when a man loves you, he wants to flaunt you. That’s his way of marking his territory so that other “predators” know to stay away. So if he is shying away from little public display of affection as simple as holding your hands, then it’s possible that he is not just that into you. Or maybe he doesn’t want the whole world (or at least a small part of it) to know that you both are together.

 

3. You are not the only woman in his life

 

You may not want to read this, but sometimes you just have to face the truth. Often times, when a man is double dating, he wants to play safe. So he cannot let any of these ladies visit. But when he is seeing them off, he will try as much as possible to keep it casual. He also keeps the conversations short in public. For such men, goodbye hugs can be a major issue.

 

So ladies, take your time and do not be too quick to judge. Have a conversation with him, and let your discretion take over. You can also have a talk with your partner. Believe it or not, you and your boyfriend need some form of PDA to spice up your relationship.
