For the past year, Wizkid has been teasing the release of his fourth studio album, “Made In Lagos”. As far back as June, he announced his first official single of 2019, “Joro”. While we’re still waiting on that one, Wizkid teased another single, “Ghetto Love”.
It has been nearly a year since we got any new music from Wizkid, save for some fantastic features. Given this, you can imagine fans’ frustration when teasers seem to come more frequently than the actual music. However, everyone knows that whatever he releases will definitely be worth the wait.
In addition to sharing the song’s cover art, Wizkid also tagged Killertunes and Burna Boy’s not-so-secret weapon, Kel P — two of the most talented Nigerian producers working today.
He also shared a short clip of himself in “Made In Lagos” merchandise, with a crowd cheering in the background.
We don’t know how long it will take before Wizkid releases “Ghetto Love” seeing as we’re still waiting for the previously teased “Joro”.
Nevertheless, we are excited and anticipating a new official single from one of the biggest Afropop stars in the world.
