Xiaomi launches Mi Band 7 Pro, see what’s new

Xiaomi has launched its Mi Band 7 Pro, the latest wearable Mi offering from the smartphone brand, and we love the new features.

From a glance, the Mi Band 7 Pro comes with a larger display of about 1.64-inch, which is unusual because predecessors have all come with small screens. Likely, this means that the company is bringing more options and functionalities.

Given what users could do with the vanilla Mi Band 7, this new wearable could let you monitor/track blood oxygen, sleep, heart rate, and so on. Xiaomi adds that the wearable can track 117 sports/exercise modes, including outdoor and indoor activities. Also, it will bring more than 180 watch faces for users to select from.

In addition, the Mi Band 7 Pro will have an in-built GPS and a 5ATM water resistance rating making it suitable for swimming (so long as you don’t go deeper than 50 meters underwater). It will be equipped with a 235mAh battery that gives it 12 days worth of battery charge.

Where it is supported, you could use it to make payments, thanks to its NFC capability, and you can use it to control cameras, receive notifications from your phone, and more.

Xiaomi is erasing the line in the sand separating its Mi Band from the smartwatch class. Several strap color options will be available to buyers, such as graphite/black, rose gold/white, Vitality Orange, Resting White, Joy Live Pink, Meditation Green, Night Leap Black, and Stretch Blue.

Mi Band 7 Pro launched in China for about $60 (NGN 25,000), and the straps cost about $6 (NGN 2,500) each. While Xiaomi has not said anything about when the wearable will be available in other countries, you can keep checking partner stores for updates.
